We aim to provide the best and most fulfilling experience in a safe and inclusive friendly atmosphere on a wonderful river. Rowing involves whole body fitness and mental exhilaration. Norwich Rowing Club reaches out to the wider local community and welcomes new members, able and disabled people (aged 14-80+), who want to learn to row or compete at novice to elite levels. We hold Learn2Row courses throughout the year. If you don’t want to race you can happily enjoy Explore Rowing in wider boats or, simply join in the social side of the club.
Open, transparent, and honest in everything we do. We work hard to improve clarity and openness in communication and provide an even better rowing and social experience for our members.
Focus - We have clear objectives in terms of rowing and our social community. We aim for these to be well communicated to provide a friendly environment that is focussed on improvement, enjoyment, individual fulfilment, and greater success.
Teamwork - We believe in the importance of working together whether as a club, in our crews, and at the committee level.
Commitment - A consistent and disciplined approach that creates a successful rowing environment and a focussed approach to racing and social rowing.
Pride in everything we do!
